About Us
Chartered Physiotherapist Andrew Dumbleton, BA BSc, trained at St George’s, University of London. During the Covid-19 pandemic Andrew noticed that an increasing number of his NHS patients were in need of a more targeted, patient centred form of treatment than he was able to offer, with this in mind he set up Physio50.
Andrew founded Physio50 in 2021. Prior to this he was a senior Musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapist for Connect Health working as part of the Camden NHS trust. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Andrew worked as a first contact triage practitioner entrusted with finding the correct care pathway for Camden's NHS patients. Before retraining as a physiotherapist, Andrew ran a successful garden design and construction company. Andrew also holds a BA in Theater Arts and a National Certificate in Horticulture, he is also a qualified brick layer.
The NHS has provided Andrew with extensive experience in the rehabilitating of even the most stuborn and long term issues. Andrew's background and life experience means he comfortable treating all types of patients whether their issue is sports related, age related, or work related.
Qualifications:
- Physiotherapist BSc Hons
- Sports Massage Therapist - Level 3 Dip
- Diploma with distinction in Medical Biosciences
- Tennis coaching diploma (QCF)
Our OBJECTIVE
Physio50 aims to help people of all ages - whether working from home, returning to activity or already physically active. Physio50 will provide treatment that is evidence based, site specific, realistic and achievable.
Where we work
The Physio50 treatment studio is based in N16, Stoke Newington, North London. Andrew will also provide home visits and video or telephone consultations.
